History of Obade'O Therapy Foundation

Right from young age I witnessed my mum doing quite a lot of charity work by visiting the needy at Ebute Metta in Lagos Nigeria and providing alms to the needy, the blind and less privileged, particularly children and young mothers.

From that time I had the inspiration and the yearning because I saw the joy in the faces of the people she supports.

I started this by helping my family and friends that are in need in Africa. As you know "charity begins from home" until a time I lost my mum and I feel her legacy in this area should continue. I was doing this with a friend back home until I lost my dear friend who was very supportive of this vision in year 2023 Feb.

My loss triggered something in me and Obade'o was officially registered and launched in May 2023.

Our Vision

Our vision is to support and empower the less privileged and the needy to become better in life, have meaningful education, acquire skills that will put them in a position of fulfillment of their destiny. This year we have been able to migrate 150 mallam village children into mainstream school and also managed to provide them with sport wears to encourage play and sports which does not stop there.

Mission Statement

Regularly reaching out to the less privileged, the needy, educating young children that are less privileged by supporting them back to school. Also supporting struggling widows to get back on their feet.
